Words on board: AMARRIS

It's almost 48 hours since we left Port Camargue, and the journey continues in the heart of the Mediterranean! We've been very lucky with the weather conditions, which have been really pleasant and there's always a little more wind than the forecast models, which has enabled us to link up the systems without slowing down! That hasn't been the case for the 2nd part of the fleet and the gaps are starting to widen...

Yesterday's approach to Menorca was complicated, but Allagrande had a good feel for the situation by playing the site effect and gained a few precious miles of lead. We're battling it out with Lift V2 and passed Centrakor again last night!

We're still very disappointed to have spent the night in Cap Creus and Menorca... And possibly Ibiza! Postcard photos are definitely for another time. Not much traffic or marine life since we left, apart from a few playful little dolphins, and everyone's letting us concentrate, which is nice.

We're heading for Ibiza with a wind that is set to veer south-westerly and not deviate much from it until we reach the finish, where we're likely to spend a few days leaning over!

Gildas is having a siesta, I've eaten my morning lentils and I'm going to trim the spinnaker.

A big kiss!

Achilles.
