Lecture: “Mental preparation, where sports and entrepreneurship meet.”

For her talk on “mental prep’ sports and business alike” professional mental trainer Géraldine Lecs, brought on the central stage of the MED MAX I Occitanie - Saïdia Resorts village two renowned French sportsmen.

On one side, François Trinh-Duc, former international rugby player, on the other Mathieu Claveau, skipper of the Class40 "Prendre la Mer - Agir pour la Forêt".
Different figures for different sports at first glance, but both men work for the same company, Fortil, an engineering and consulting group based in Toulon. François Trinh-Duc, a 5-year degree in management school, joined after his sporting career as director of the Montpellier branch. Mathieu Claveau has been practice manager there, specialized in aeronautics, since 2020.
The discussions shifted from sporting experience, for instance dealing with defeat and setbacks, bouncing back, to forgetting or rather making the most of fear and apprehension to lead your team, or meet success in business. When you look at the mental side of it, achievement in business or sports overcome the same battles.
