The Fédération Française de Voile (French Sailing Federation) is a not-for-profit association governed by the law of 1901. It is delegated by the French government to organise all forms of sailing sport,

  • Welcomes, supervises and trains all types of public,
  • Leads, certifies and represents a national network of clubs,
  • Promotes, shares and develops sport in all its forms,
  • Is socially committed and preserves its environment, its playground,
  • Plans, regulates and referees all competitions,
  • Identifies and supports top-level athletes.

 

The FFVoile in figures: 3.3 million sailors, including 50% in its network of affiliated clubs, particularly in its 392 French Sailing Schools, for a total of more than 260,000 licence holders. More than 6,000 events on the federal calendar, including 27 French Championships.

The FFVoile is also a member of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF) and the only French organisation affiliated to World Sailing (International Sailing Federation).
